Your Dad is So Gay is a child's point of view into a conversation that actually happened on the playground at my elementary. My father came for a parent day at my elementary and upon leaving a classmate confronted me with “Your Dad is SO GAY!!” And in all sincerity I responded with “Yes! I know. He is a very Happy Man!” I had no idea at that time that my dad, was in fact gay. My intent with this composition was to put the viewer at child level, as though you just happened upon this conversation.
